The UNESCO Memory of the World Programme is pleased to invite you to the 3rd edition of the Memory of the World Global Policy Forum (3rd MoWGPF), to take place on 22 November 2022, in Tokyo, Japan. The event is co-hosted by the Memory of the World (MoW) Programme Secretariat and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan (MEXT) and will be devoted to the theme “Enhancing International Cooperation to better Safeguard Documentary Heritage at Risk”.
The 3rd MoWGPF aims to increase knowledge about safeguarding documentary heritage at risk in times of growing natural and human-made disasters. It will explore existing and new initiatives for safeguarding documentary heritage and seeks to solidify emerging global partnerships for its effective preservation and accessibility.
